Privacy notice
In short: we don't sell your data, we use no advertising cookies, and we only ask for what we need to host you. The detail is below.

Who is responsible for your data
Gianmarco Milani, at Blvd. Kukulkán km 9.5, Hotel Zone, Cancún, Quintana Roo, 77500, Mexico, is responsible for processing the personal data you share with us through this site and through WhatsApp.
This notice is issued under Mexico's Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP).
What we collect
It depends on how you interact with us. We are deliberately minimal: we don't ask for anything we don't need in order to host you.
- If you message us on WhatsApp: your name, your phone number, and whatever you choose to tell us (dates, group size, preferences). If you reach us through Instagram, your handle as well.
- If you stay with us: your name, your stay dates and the number of guests.
- If you only browse the site: we ask for nothing. The availability search records the dates you looked up, how many guests, which options we showed you, which page you arrived from, and a random identifier that is deleted when you close the tab. That identifier cannot tell us who you are and does not follow you between visits.
What we do NOT collect
We do not collect sensitive data: nothing about ethnic origin, health, beliefs, political opinions or sexual preferences.
We do not process payments on this site, so we never collect card or bank details. When you book through Airbnb, Airbnb handles the payment under its own policies.
We do not store your IP address. We do record the country you visit from —only the country, never the city— to understand where interest comes from.
What we use your data for
Necessary purposes — without these we cannot host you:
- Reply to your message and give you availability, rates and conditions.
- Manage your booking, your arrival and your stay.
- Arrange services you ask for, such as airport transfers or tours.
- Meet the tax and guest-registration obligations required by Mexican law.
Additional purposes you can decline
We use site searches in aggregated, anonymous form to understand which dates and group sizes are most requested, and to set rates and availability accordingly. This data does not identify you.
We show ads on Facebook and Instagram to people who already visited this site. It uses no data that identifies you, and you can turn it off in your Meta account's ad settings.
With your consent, we may write to you with news or offers.
You can decline these additional purposes at any time without affecting your booking or the service you receive. Just tell us on WhatsApp.
Who we share your data with
We do not sell your data. We transfer it only to the providers that let us operate and advertise:
- Supabase — the database holding bookings, on servers outside Mexico.
- Vercel — the hosting for this website.
- WhatsApp (Meta) — when you message us there, the conversation runs through their platform and is also governed by their policies.
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram) — receives the browsing data from the pixel described below, so we can show you our ads. Never data that identifies you.
- Airbnb — when your booking comes through that platform, we receive your stay dates from them.
- Competent authorities — where the law requires it.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use the Meta pixel (the company behind Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp). It records which pages you view, whether you search for availability, and whether you tap our WhatsApp buttons or Airbnb links.
It serves two purposes: showing ads on Facebook and Instagram to people who already visited this site, and understanding what people look for here. We send it no personal data: not your name, not your email, not your phone. Only the anonymous behaviour described above.
We also use two purely technical things: a cookie that remembers whether you prefer the site in Spanish or English, and a temporary search identifier that is deleted when you close the tab.
- How to avoid it: you can turn off personalised advertising in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings, or use a tracker blocker in your browser. The site works just as well without the pixel.
- If we enable other measurement tools in the future, we will update this notice before doing so.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, rectify it if inaccurate, cancel it when you believe it is no longer needed, and object to its use for specific purposes. You may also withdraw any consent you gave us.
To exercise them, message us on WhatsApp at +52 1 998 218 4633, telling us which right you want to exercise, which data it concerns, and how you'd like us to reply. We may ask you to confirm your identity in order to protect your information.
We will respond within 20 business days at most.
How long we keep your data
We keep booking data for as long as Mexican tax rules require. WhatsApp conversations are kept while they remain useful for hosting you, and you can ask us to delete them.
Site search records, since they do not identify you, are kept indefinitely in aggregated form.
Minors
This site is not directed at minors and we do not knowingly collect their data. Bookings are always made by an adult.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice when what we do with data changes, or when regulation requires it. The current version will always be published on this page, with its update date.
If a change is significant, we will let you know through the same channel you used to contact us.
